On September 21, 2025, I had the pleasure of attending Strongsville’s annual Breakfast on the Covered Bridge, a longstanding tradition that brings residents together in one of our city’s most unique and scenic settings.
Held at the Ehrnfelt Covered Bridge in the Cleveland Metroparks, the event welcomed families, neighbors, and friends for a morning filled with great food, beautiful weather, and strong community spirit. It was wonderful to see so many residents gathered together, enjoying breakfast and spending time with one another.

This annual event, hosted by the Strongsville City Club, continues to be a meaningful way to connect residents while supporting important local initiatives. Proceeds from the breakfast help fund community projects that benefit Strongsville and strengthen our city for everyone.
Events like Breakfast on the Covered Bridge reflect what makes Strongsville such a special place to live — a community that values tradition, volunteerism, and coming together to support one another. I am grateful to the Strongsville City Club and the many volunteers whose hard work made this year’s event such a success.
Strongsville’s strength has always come from its people, and it was inspiring to see that spirit on full display.
