Jim Kaminski is more than a City Council representative—he’s a passionate member of the Strongsville community, dedicated to keeping it a great place to live and work!
Jim prioritizes investments in our infrastructure such as improving streets, bridges and storm & sanitary sewers. He supports actively seeking grants and private donations to fund additional family amenities that can be enjoyed by residents of all ages and abilities, specifically a playground, splash pad, and an amphitheater. Jim’s commitment to improving our tree canopy has already resulted in hundreds of new trees planted in Ward 1.

Traffic Solutions
- The addition of missing left turn lanes where needed (Albion & 130th)
- Control the ingress/egress points on Pearl Road
Road Repair & Infrastructure
- Jim will fight for continued investment in our roads and bridge repairs. When Jim last served on Council he was involved with the expansion of Royalton Rd and Pearl Rd South.
Sound barriers (71 & Ohio Turnpike)
- We have opportunities to have a combination of a natural and a manufactured barrier to reduce noise levels
- Entrance and access road to the Ohio Turnpike off Pearl Rd needs attention
