genuine care for others. The one that stands out the most is how you supported me when I had to make the move from full-time to part-time under your leadership. Petrified I would lose the career advancement that I had worked so hard to achieve, I approached you with the news. But, in true Jim fashion, you gently took the time to talk with me and ensured that this is only a small phase of life. You pushed to ensure that I kept my job at part-time and enjoyed the career path I had chosen. I wouldn’t be where I am today in my career if it hadn’t been for you. Thank you for all those years of coaching, guidance and positive can-do attitude. You are the best of the best!
I have known Jim Kaminski for over 40 years, and I am proud to support his campaign for Strongsville Mayor. He is a born leader with strong values, high integrity, humble confidence, and a fierce loyalty to his family and community. He made the choice to retire from his successful career and com back to Strongsville to focus full time on serving his hometown. I know that he will do an excellent job serving our city!

It does not surprise me Jim’s next adventure after retirement would be getting involved and being a leader in Strongsville. Working together for over six years at the Kellogg Company, Jim always talked about his hometown and his love for the community. Even though he was living in Michigan and his youngest son graduated from a Battle Creek area district, Strongsville was always home to Jim and his family. Jim is a devoted family man, always looking for ways to get involved and give back in meaningful ways. His strong leadership skills bring people together for the common good. He holds himself and others accountable to make sure promises are kept. He is a man of his word. Strongsville will be a better place with Jim helping lead the charge.
