I was honored to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of Strongsville’s new Town Center Park — an exciting addition that will serve families, residents, and visitors for generations to come.

Located next to the Strongsville Recreation and Senior Center, Town Center Park represents a significant investment in our community and quality of life. This thoughtfully designed space provides something for everyone, including a modern playground accessible to children of all ability levels, a splash pad, tennis and pickleball courts, sand volleyball courts, and open green space for community events and gatherings.

The enclosed pavilion, walking paths, and pedestrian-friendly design help connect the Town Center area and create a welcoming space where residents can gather, stay active, and enjoy time together. It was wonderful to see so many families attending the opening and already making use of the park’s new amenities.

This project reflects the strength of Strongsville’s community partnerships. Grants from Cuyahoga County, the State of Ohio, and NOPEC, along with generous support from local businesses, civic organizations, and residents, helped make this vision a reality. Their contributions demonstrate what can be accomplished when a community works together.

Town Center Park is more than just a new recreational space — it is a symbol of Strongsville’s continued growth and commitment to providing outstanding amenities for residents of all ages.

Investments like this help ensure Strongsville remains a great place to live, raise a family, and build a future. I look forward to seeing this park become a central gathering place for our community for years to come.
